I purchased this car seat bag for recent travels and was horribly disappointed. Let me preface this that I was traveling with 1 car seat, a Cosco scerena that only weighs 10 lbs. I no more than got through security and the pad on the shoulder strap ripped. By the time we landed at our destination and got to the car, the second pad on the other shoulder strap ripped. I was not impressed but we had another trip a few weeks later so I wanted to use the bag for the trip rather than buying something new again. For the second trip, by the time we got to our rental car at our destination the bottom of the bag was RIPPED, while we were on our trip, we needed to make a special stop for find duct tape so we could get the car seat home. I threw the bag away once we got home. I want to follow this is saying that we used the bag to get the car seat through security and onto the plane where we installed the car seat for our daughter to sit in the car seat for the flight. The bag was never in the hands of airport personnel or under the plane. Very unimpressed. Save your time, take the dive on a more expensive better quality car seat bag!!!

We got 2 of these knowing that we needed to fit a booster seat with back, carseat for a 1 year old and a hiking backpack carrier into them. We flew to Colorado from Indianapolis. Ive seen all the comments about these types of carriers being fragile, easily ripped or damaged and for this type, the top not fully closing. I was pleased with the bags travel though! This type allowed multiple carry options including as a backpack (HUGE game changer for pack mule dads through an airport). I wore one pack on my back, one laid sideways with the handle strap securing it on our wheeled suitcases and this allowed my wife to push the stroller through the airport and terminals, letting us spend less time keeping awkward items from falling and more time keeping an eye on our kids and where we are going. The durability was better than expected. There was evidence of large black smudges/scuffs on the back with some other evidence that it went through a trolley and travel system but Im glad that was on the bags and not the car seats/booster. I would have felt the need to clean this off before putting my daughters in the seats, not knowing what all they ran up against (never trust Airport cleanliness). As for security, the top of the bag is a thick drawstring close with small flap to attempt some degree of concealment. The bag stays closed despite the rough handling it received. After how much stress it saved me during transport and peace of mind knowing that the materials my daughters laid their heads against was mostly clean, this was no longer a point of matter for me. I would highly recommend these bags as I was initially skeptical, but definitely worth the price to me!

I would definitely say this is a like but not love. Its solidly made but I think that it could have a little bit more padding. I also hate the opening at the top. Its hard to open and close! I also wish that the straps were a bit padded since youre carrying a heavy car seat inside. But it gets the job done.

Used this on a flight it survived. I like the the straps so I can put it on my back. Wish the opening was better

This is our second time ordering a car seat travel bag and this one was so much better than the first one we ordered. The other ripped after one trip and these have been on several now and look almost like new aside from a few dirty spots which I to be expected. The handles make carrying it very easy too. And folding it up makes it easy to manage. Highly recommend.

The hook for the straps are made of thin plastic. My carseat is not heavy, since is one that we use for traveling purposes. So, if you expect to carry a heavy/bulky carseat I wouldnt recommend using the backpack straps. I givingi it 3 stars because the material is good and the closure makes the difference.

This car seat carrier was a God send at the airport. It is much thicker than I expected and held up great. I used the backpack strap feature. The car seat was heavy, so the straps dug into my shoulders, but it was so much easier to use in order to get through the airport more efficiently. I highly recommend this product.

Bag allows for easy transport through the airport for gate check. Back pack straps are adjustable. I’m 4’11” and could still carry it. Did not check the car seat but I did see the plastic wrap on other car seats was mostly off. If I put this under I would make sure all straps were short to avoid them getting caught on the conveyor belt.
