If you want to start painting models and minifigures, go with Vallejo. It is high quality and works wonders.

Like all game color paints. Needs to be thinned down a bit before use.

Ive bought the Vallejo Game Color Dark Green before this. It looks good on my Salamanders BUT it looks more like Dark Angels colorwise. I bought this one and it is brighter while remaining slightly dark. I feel Mutation Green reflects GWs codex color for Salamanders compared to Dark Green. Im also using Game Color Escorpena Green for highlights which adds a beautiful edges. There was not much info on this brand of paint besides sponsored professionals. Vallejo should reach out to independent hobby tabletop painters on YouTube to increase their brand recognition. There was not much info for Game Color as there is with Army Painter and obviously Citadel. People do love Vallejos air brush series though. Game Color is my first paint so I have nothing to compare it to. Some of my paints seem a bit think even after adding a drop of water so I guess I have to thin a bit more. I use a wet palette because if I dont it will dry fast on the pallet. This paint dries very fast.

Paints are very smooth and consistent. Brush with ease and can be air brushed as well. Most of art is hand done as it is so fine. This blue was the perfect dark shade I was looking for to offset a lighter color.

First off, Thank you to Knot Models for shipping this so fast. I have some older Games Workshop paints that have been discontinued. Over time, they have gone bad. In this particular case, I have been searching for an exact match for GWs old Vermin Brown. After making a few incorrect match attempts, I found Parasite brown, which is a 90% match to the paint I was looking to replace. Its a little lighter than the original, but the same color.

From the Manufacturer

Acrylicos Vallejo The Vallejo Company was registered in New Jersey, U.S.A., in the year 1965. In these early years it specialized in the manufacture of colors for animated films (cartoons). The most sustained expansion of Vallejo started in the nineties, beginning with the introduction of new products directed at the Model painting and Hobby sector. The company became the first specialist in acrylic colors, with a long and varied experience in all aspects of this branch of manufacturing. Game Color Paint Game color is a special selection of fine water based acrylic colors manufactured with a special resin and permanent pigments for miniatures figures in fantasy and war games. Game Color are presented in a 17 ml. bottle with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container.
