Vanicream Moisturizing Skin Cream, 16 Ounces

I work at a hospital in Denver specializing in treating allergies and skin conditions. They sell this in the gift shop and its wonderful. I have eczema and very dry sensitive skin (not helped by living at altitude in an arid climate). The dermatologists here recommend the soak and seal method of skin care. Soak in a bath (not hot) or shower for 10-15 minutes. Pat skin with towel but do not dry completely. Then apply a thick, unscented cream like Vanicream to seal in moisture. Research shows that a genetic flaw seems to be responsible for skin that doesnt hold enough moisture, which can lead to skin problems. This method works great!

My newborn daughter had really bad eczema. I tried all sorts of natural solutions like tallow, shea butter, breast milk etc. I also used stuff like Vaseline, aveeno etc. nothing worked and her skin was so sad. It even softens the calluses on my feet. It’s advertised as having no scent and that’s true, no scent whatsoever. It absorbs well in a very short time. I highly recommend this product.

I recently got contact dermatitis and this helped calm and moisturize my irritated, dry skin. It is fragrance free, thick enough to easily apply. I love the jar so I can grab as much as I need to put on the irritated areas.
