> 3 dayWithout built-in wifi as an included feature this expensive dashcam becomes needlessly difficult to manage directly off the device mounted in a safe position on the windshield. The frequent reformatting of the SD card when the SD card is full (every 3 days even with a 256gb SD card). The rear mounted camera with the additional costly hardwire kit took 4 hours to properly mount then conceal to attach the wires to the fuse panel. The rear camera does not indicate lense positioning therefore its easy to attach the rear camera lens upside down. The GPS suction mount / adhesive forces the cable to position to the left of the camera rather than attach directly from the top to make concealing the rear camera wire and power cable easier to connect. Vantrue has done a disservice to this buyer.

> 3 dayI bought this GPS receiver module for my Vantrue X4S dash cam and I’m very happy with it. It was easy to install and it works well with the Vantrue player software. I can see the location, speed and route of my vehicle on a map and also export the GPS data to other formats. The suction cup mount is strong and stable and the type C USB port is convenient. The GPS signal is accurate and reliable and it adds more value to my dash cam footage. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to add GPS functionality to their Vantrue N4, N2S, X4S, N1 Pro (2023) or T3 dash cam12.

> 3 dayIt is a deceiving option of VanTrue. Supposedly, VanTrue can build the unit with GPS. However, it may extend the size of the unit which may prevent it to compete with other brands in terms of styling and compact ability. The one which I hate the most is it pushes the camera lower since we need the upper portion to stick this GPS module. Next issue is the port is only available on the right, while the wiring for back camera is on the left. It complicated the wiring angles. The area around the camera is now crowded with 2 USB-C Cables. Ideally, you should provide two ports for the GPS - one is on the left and one is on right. Next, you can slim down the size or at a minimum you can reduce the diameter of the adhesion area. Well, nothing is perfect. Overall, if I have to setup this camera again, I would omit this GPS module.

> 3 dayGot this camera for my car installed it. Looked pretty good on the right lower side of my rear view mirror. Then I wanted the app. That only works with the GPS so got that for an extra $30. Well the window mount it comes with has the cord on top and the rear camera on the left side. It worked out looking pretty good for a wire set up. But with the new GPS window mount they have it on the right side. Come on guys think about it. You have a wire coming out of both sides doesn’t make any sense to me. So now I have a camera that I paid over $300 for but it looks cheap as hell with wires coming out of both sides.

> 3 dayThe suction holder that came with the dash cam was not very good at staying on. So I got this with GPS. Only the dash cam stopped working after 1 week. On top of this breaking as well. Poor design.

> 3 dayNo more suction cap surprises! This adhesive mount is by far the best option. Throw away your suction cap mount and get one of these. No more dashcam falling off windscreen in hot weather.

> 3 dayI love this. So much better than the suction cup option. However, getting the dash am off is extremely difficult. The lever to remove it really needs to be bigger. It is so hard to reach it behind the cam, push that tiny level to remove the camera.
