Quality material. Easy to see. Stays down even when hit with prop blast. Has a little wear on the creases from unfolding, folding etc, but it’s held up great for 9 months with using it a few times per month, being in a backpack, etc. If you fly in windy conditions a lot, get the bigger one. Much easier to land on and you won’t risk breaking a prop if you’re on rocky terrain and you’re off by a little.

So I picked up this bad boy just last week. Thought I had picked a different color, but apparently not. It’s definitely pink. Nothing wrong with that, as it is easy to see when looking at my DJI controller finding the landing zone. It’s easy to spot with my eyes when I move away as well. It’s sturdy, folds well and easily, and seems like good quality. Seems like it could have a secondary purpose of body armor, a paddle for the one misbehaving kid, or a shield for this into LARPing. Just kidding. This won’t do for LARPing.

Pros:

I bought this landing pad for outdoor use to provide my drone with a flat, debris-free surface on which to land. Overall, no problem, except when its very hot outside. I used it at a rocky beach in Greece. Within 20 minutes the pad had warped under the heat coming from the sun and rocks underneath. I was able to flatten it a bit later on by keeping it in the sun on a flat surface, but it never recovered 100%. So, my score reflects the fact that the pad is intended mostly for the outdoors but cannot withstand conditions that are not that unfrequent in the outdoors. In cooler weather or the shade, I had no issues. I expected better durability for the price.

Excellent landing pad and easy to fold up/put away (unlike others).

Great bit of kit. Folds up for easy portability. Any grass etc that can be difficult to take off and land will be no problem with the landing pad.

Bought to use out here in the country on uneven terrain, and this pad is big, and weighty. I have not had any issues in the kinds of winds that my mini 3 pro can handle. I like its big size as it is easy to spot from high up.

This will help prevent contact with your drone and sand, water, dust and so on at a fair price.

This mat unfolds quickly and is about as heavy as a can of soda.
