Vera Bradley Performance Twill Weekender Travel Bag

I bought this as a second carry-on for a two-week, 8-segment cross-country train trip, and it worked out great. I loved that the bag was lightweight but sturdy -- even when stuffed full, it was easy to lift up to the overhead luggage rack (and down and up again, as I had occasion to do a couple of times on each train...). I chose the navy color because it was an elegant neutral that also had a light-colored lining inside, making it easy to see the contents. The outer and inner pockets were convenient and well-placed. The only thing that didnt work for me is the luggage sleeve -- my rolling suitcase handle was too wide to use it (so if that feature is critical to you, make sure to check your dimensions). However, using the adjustable cross-body strap worked well for me--and when carrying it this way, I again really appreciated the bag itself being so lightweight, so its not adding much to the contents youre carrying. All in all, Im delighted with this weekender and look forward to taking it on many future trips!

This is a really flexible bag. It can be used as a gym bag; carry-on(in some cases); and for short or long weekends. Its really more or less a medium/large duffle bag. My girlfriend is VERY into VB Performance Twill. Nearly every time something comes out, she wants it. Like most of the others, she loves this one. Her only issue is with its large size, she simply doesnt have a need to use it more than a few times a week (mostly the gym). This bag can handle 29L of items. Compartments are reasonable in number and design. Material quality and stitching is very good. The overall look is modern with a little vintage (quilting). The handle straps and shoulder strap are both quite functional. Really, if you have the need for this amount of storage, this is a super nice glorified duffle bag. Recommended 4 stars Cheers!

I’ve always loved Vera Bradley bags and their wonderful colors and patterns, but sometimes you just want something a little plain for travel. this is a very classic black quilted design with pockets on the sides and back as well as two zip compartments on the front. It measures about 15” long, 13” tall and 9” wide but is flexible to accommodate odder shaped items. Inside there is several netted pockets to secure items and it has the single most useful design in the history of travel bags.... a slot to slip the bag over the handle of a suitcase! you can secure the bag on top of a suitcase and not have to worry about carrying both separately. If you do plan to carry it, it also has a double tote handle as well as an extra over body strap. classic and functional!

I gave several of these bags ( in different patterns/colors ). as christmas gifts. Everyone was very pleased to have this great bag. These bags have several pockets and zippers to organize the items. Thet are very good quality.

From my wife Sarah: I love Vera Bradley and I particularly love the look of their black fabric. I have a matching purse in this same fabric and I love it. Its lightweight and attractive. This Weekender Travel Bag is rather large, so dont look to this item if you are in need of a purse. Its really meant for travel. It also is much heavier than I would have imagined. The design is convenient and easy to use. Its got a slot that would allow you to rest the bag on a handle on the top of a piece of luggage. The pouches and pockets are very convenient. Its got 3 exterior open pouches that you can put things in which youd like to access easily such as your phone, a snack, etc. Its got 2 very large zippered pouches on the exterior that could fit a lot. They would be large enough to fit shoes, a hair curler, etc. The interior has netting that forms pouches along the inside walls of the bag, so you can organize inside the bag. Then theres a lot of room inside the bag. It would be roomy enough to take some clothing, toiletries, etc. So I think this is a really nice bag for travel, though as with all things Vera Bradly, it would be easy to stain and to cause wear and tear on the fabric. The black color does make staining less noticeable though. All in all, Id recommend this bag for travel.

Multiple pockets, two with heavy duty zippers, are convenient for accessing trip related items without having to open and dig in the bag. Everything needed for an overnighter can fit inside the generously sized bag (12. 5 inches high, 18. 5 inches Wide, and 6. 5 inches deep). There are also divided areas inside made of net that stretch to accommodate different sized items. It’s legal as a carryon and can be packed full. It’s a big, tough, heavyweight, but classy looking bag that doesn’t look ostentatious or outdated. Highly recommended for travelers with style.

I love the fabric. I never was a fan of vera Bradley until this bag. The fabric is versatile with weather and has a beautiful pattern and colors.

Great sized bag. I like how it’s simple and has a lot of space and pockets. Very great quality and great for traveling and for the weekend. Also comes with an adjustable shoulder strap!
