Love the color, the size and pockets in this bad!! Great for traveling!!

Performance fabric much nicer than the cotton for a travel bag. Really like the newer design, it has a small slip pocket in the front, like for a phone, and the back suitcase handle pocket can be zipped and used as a large slip pocket. The suitcase handle pocket fits easily over a carryon suitcase. Seems to be standard sized. Like the navy floral, it’s dark enough that it shouldn’t show dirt and still has enough design/color that it’s not boring. Zippers are nice and smooth. Overall the bag looks very nice, doesn’t look cheap like some of the VB cotton bags do. That said not sure I would pay more than $100, I was able to get it on sale for just under $80 and I think the price is right there.

Great quality material. Love the park stripe print. It is really beautiful yet simple. Used for traveling to the beach for the weekend.

I love this bag! Its perfect for a trip as long as a week! Easy to pack and easy to carry. One important thing to me is that the bag is not heavy before I pack it. Then with clothes added, its still a reasonable weight to carry.

From my wife Sarah: I love Vera Bradley and I particularly love the look of their black fabric. I have a matching purse in this same fabric and I love it. Its lightweight and attractive. This Weekender Travel Bag is rather large, so dont look to this item if you are in need of a purse. Its really meant for travel. It also is much heavier than I would have imagined. The design is convenient and easy to use. Its got a slot that would allow you to rest the bag on a handle on the top of a piece of luggage. The pouches and pockets are very convenient. Its got 3 exterior open pouches that you can put things in which youd like to access easily such as your phone, a snack, etc. Its got 2 very large zippered pouches on the exterior that could fit a lot. They would be large enough to fit shoes, a hair curler, etc. The interior has netting that forms pouches along the inside walls of the bag, so you can organize inside the bag. Then theres a lot of room inside the bag. It would be roomy enough to take some clothing, toiletries, etc. So I think this is a really nice bag for travel, though as with all things Vera Bradly, it would be easy to stain and to cause wear and tear on the fabric. The black color does make staining less noticeable though. All in all, Id recommend this bag for travel.

The Vera Bradley Weekender is a good size for short trips. I love that it has a shoulder strap so that I dont have to just carry it by the handles. You can also slide it over the hand bar of your suitcase. I like that it has the Vera Bradley quilting, but that it comes in black. For business travel, I prefer the black to the patterns Vera Bradley is known for. The fabric is durable too compared to some of their other bags. It has plenty of pockets and compartments. I like that I can still fold it flatter for storing when its not in use. Suitcases can take up a lot of space in a closet, even small carry on size ones. This would even be good for college students that travel back home on weekends.

This bag is 18x12x6 inches overall. It has an outside zip pocket that is 12x10 inches and a smaller pocket 11x7 12 inches. On the back, there is a strip of fabric that makes up two 5x5 pockets that are open on top and in the center, a bottomless pocket that slips over the handle of a rolling suitcase or rolling computer case. Inside is the beautiful Vera Bradly fabric with two mesh pockets on both sides. The whole bag is very versatile and makes for a nice carry-on bag. The straps for carrying are strong and there is an additional sholulder strap with a shoulder pad. That strap is over 50 inches in length. Overall, this is a very nice bag that works well and looks very good doing it.

I admit to liking Vera Bradley bags but sometimes feeling like they were designed for my mom -- older patterns, older designs. I havent bought a new bag in over 10 years, the quality was great but the designs just havent drawn me. I am happy to see they have updated their bags without reducing the quality. You can use the Vera Bradley bags without screaming thats what youre carrying. A nice quilted black water resistant exterior with an attractive VB printed interior lining. They are heavy duty with real metal zippers, grommets and clips. This means that they are heavy, I was surprised when I picked it up with the weight. The design is simple, with rounded carry handles and a long adjustable shoulder strap. One outside end has a bottle holder and unlike most, it is reinforced and sturdy enough to actually hold a bottle. The exterior back has two open pockets and in the center has a loop that you can put over a luggage handle. The exterior front has two exterior pockets, each with a heavy duty metal zipper. The interior has open netted pockets, three on one side and two on the other. This is a simple, basic design which is usable. I would have liked more divisions or non-netting pockets on the inside. The zippers are heavy duty and work smoothly without catching. I found two hung threads on the seams, but both were able to be snipped shorter without affecting the sewing. I am happy with my new bag!

I love this Vera Bradley bag. It’s well made and can hold a lot.
