The gold color on the backpack cracks and flakes off. This is a bag you can use occasionally - not everday. They should charge less since the exterior design is NOT lasting/durable. The inside is large and can hold a lot. Would have loved this if it was a better quality exterior. They need to replace these and never charge anything over $50. it is a shame because the design of the backpack is excellent - holds a lot, but it looks really bad once the gold flakes off, which is within a few months.

It’s a easy carry with the hand or spot it onto the back and carry it that way. Ether way is comfortable to do. It has pockets for almost everything needed that needs to be carried to school or just out at the beach. The backpack itself is almost weightless and has been made with recycled cotton materials. There is a spot for a laptop but I couldn’t find what size it fits best. The desert flower pink is a lovely color and stands out among the rest of the regular looking bags with little to no flare whatsoever. We have a wide assortment of Vera Bradley bags and the quality is always consistent to each. The zippers worked well in both directions and the little lanyards added a custom look by being folded over ribbon with the same color as the bag. Small details like that should be inspiration for other companies to follow. It’s a solid performer backpack and will be used often here. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!
