I really love the versatility of this backpack. I have used it for travel and the gym. The fabric is very soft and it has lots of pockets for organization. I cant wait to buy my next Vera Bradley product.

This is a well made, capacious backpack. It is large, but not too much for me to handle (I understand there is a smaller and a larger version available as well). I ordered the Rainforest Canopy pattern to mix and match with several other Vera Bradley bags I will be using for summer travel. I like that I can wear this backpack while leaving my hands free to wrangle my duffel bag and tote. The quilted pattern is lovely -- cheerful and colorful without being garish. The cotton is lightly padded and the backpack feels sturdy. There are lots of pockets to help organize the items I will be carrying: two thickly padded full-width slip pockets one each side with elasticized cuffs great for water bottles & such. There are two large zippered pockets on the front, and a very useful luggage sleeve on the back as well as an almost hidden but very useful zip pocket that opens along the side. The larger front pocket has a zipper that wraps a considerable ways down each side to allow easy access to the contents. This pocket has quite a few pockets of its own: two larger slip pockets + several partitioned slip pockets for pens, pencils and other small items and a pocket with a plastic window for an ID card. The interior features a separate, well-padded compartment for a laptop and the main compartment has two light-weight mesh pockets. Honestly, I would prefer a fabric zip pocket and a couple of fabric slip pockets instead of the rather flimsy mesh but that seems like a relatively minor point considering all of the other pockets that are available. The main compartment has a zippered closure (dual zippers) the wraps well around the sides to allow easy access to the interior, which is very spacious. The backpack has been very well constructed of quality recycled cotton and careful attention to detail. The stitching is even and nicely finished. Most of the interior is lined with cotton in a charming tropical print that coordinates nicely with the rainforest pattern, but the laptop compartment is lined with a light pink fabric highlighting the VB logo. All of the zippers are nylon with metal pull tabs and ribbon extenders and they work smoothly. The adjustable carrying straps are securely stitched to the body of the bag -- they are padded for comfort and there is a cotton loop at the top for when I want to carry the backpack in my hand. This large backpack is not only gorgeous, it is very well designed and the quality is top-notch. I think it is well worth the current price of $115.00.

Great quality. My 13yr old loved it and she was able to fit all her school supplies plus her Chromebook. The colors are just as pictured bright and cheery.

Ive always loved Vera Bradley products, and I certainly own my fair share of them! This new line of products limits the Vera Bradley prints that we all love to the inside of the bags. The exterior is a beautiful solid color. This print is perfect for both casual/everyday use, and also for more professional settings, where you might want to look a bit more understated. I have many Vera Bradley backpacks, but this is one of my favorites so far! This backpack has so many useful compartments! It has a dedicated computer storage area in the center, which easily accommodates my large laptop. The exterior of the bag has pocketed storage compartments in both the front and the back, as well as zippered compartments in the front. But I saved the best feature of all for last! There is a zippered compartment on the bottom which is plastic-lined. This is such a unique feature. Ive already used it as a cooler, but it can also be used for carrying wet clothes, dirty clothes, or shoes...pretty much anything that might make a mess and requires a dedicated space that can easily be wiped clean. For those who are doing their part to help our environment, its important to note that this bag is constructed with recycled polyester and recycled plastic bottles! I highly recommend this large backpack as a daily commuting bag for a student, professional, or even as an overnight/weekender bag for a light traveler.

This is a lovely color. The interior pattern is fun. It has a pocket to use for a Chromebook and is comfortable to wear and use. Definitely a quality item.
