Vera Bradley Womens Cotton Weekender Travel Bag

I bought this as a birthday gift for my sister. She would usually pack her weekend clothes in a grocery bag. I have a similar one I bought years ago and love it. Lots of pockets and is perfect for short trips. Vera Bradley bags are very well made and hold up well. If you are on the fence about this bag, I would say “go for it!”

I loved the design of the bag. I bought it for my mother and she was so happy. It was the perfect size. She went away for a three day weekend. Great buy!

Bag will fit under all seats if not fully packed. The features I love are the trolley sleeve, non- divided interior which holds a lot and has slip pockets along the sides, a large exterior water bottle slip pocket, exterior zip pockets, the charger pocket is a nice plus, a padded removable shoulder strap and carry straps that are not too long as some are too long and hit the ground as I am short! and NO VELCRO to hold the straps together, I hate when the velcro catches my clothing.The double zippers on main compartment as will as the larger exterior pocket can be locked with small locks if need be. I fly often and knew exactly what I needed to make things go smoothly.

I’ve had this size of VB bag for years. My original bag has survived many international trips. The size is great for a carry on or for a weekend trip. I really like the built in material that fits over the handle of your wheeled suitcase.

Was looking for an attractive carry-on bag with a contrasting inner lining. This was as close as I could find that met that criteria. I chose Vera Bradley as I have had a number of V.B. bags over the last 20 years and have always been happy with each one, no matter the style or fabric choice. This bag will be useful for travel with its roomy interior and detachable shoulder strap, along with shorter handles. But I am so disappointed with the outer fabric as the design has a faded appearance. This pattern does not have the bright colors all of my other V.B. bags have had. This pattern is pretty enough but it is dull and drab even though the pattern is complicated and busy. I compared this fabric to another V.B. bag that is several years old and this newer bag appears to have been washed repeatedly and the colors dim and worn. It seems the company has cut costs in materials now and unless the new fabrics are better quality and have the former brightness I will not feel the higher cost of these bags worth paying anymore.

I love everything about this bag! It fits all my essentials for a nice weekend getaway! This bag is great if you’re staying somewhere for 3-4 days. I even bought the matching makeup bag which is favorite because it has a plastic lining inside so it’s easy to clean when makeup tends to get a little messy. I definitely recommend this bag!

I have this bag in another pattern and it is the best. It has a lot of storage, holds a lot and the shoulder strap is strong. Great bag and I love this shell design!

This bag is my favorite one to travel with. It can fit enough clothes for a week long trip. I have had this bag for about 6 months and have carried it onto two planes, used it to help me move once, and taken it on 3 or 4 road trips, and this bag still looks brand new. The bag feels sturdy enough to hold up for a long time. The front pocket has been a convenient place to store my books while traveling without having to worry about the pages getting bent or ripped. There are five interior pockets. I tend to smaller items like toiletries in them. The trolley strap on the back is very useful for when I am traveling for longer periods of time.
