ViewSonic 3800 Lumens SVGA High Brightness Projector for Home and Office with HDMI Vertical Keystone (PA503S)

Just what I was looking for. Bright enough for class room presentations during a sunny day. Quiet operation and excellent functionality for teaching, presentations, movies or gaming.

This is XGA, so not native wide screen HS. I kind wish I had sprung the extra bucks for WXGA, but this does work well enough even not being native to that mode. Its main saving grace is that it is pretty bright, and can project pretty well even in moderate lighting. It is simple to use and autodetected signals without a hitch.

Worked great for outdoor party.

So far Ive had this projector for about 2 years. Look, before I bought this projector, I tried to do the research on what to look for before hand. Plain and simple I got lucky with this purchase. I can easily recommend blind buying this projector. As you can see I mounted this above my balcony door. Its 17 (feet) away from the screen. Now my screen is 120(inches diagonally). At that distance the video/image fits pretty much perfect within the borders of my screen. I did have to prop the projector up in the rear to get the right again to get the image perfectly in the screen. I have my fire stick in my home theater system, then I run a heavy duty hdmi cord to the projector. Movies play perfectly! Now as far as video games, my 14 year old gives it a 8/10. He recommends it as well.

This projector is amazing for the price! This is my third projector and this one is the best one of them all. ViewSonic is a solid brand and know what they are doing when it comes to building quality projectors.

We had a ViewSonic before this one, and it lasted nine years, during which we watched at least a move twice a week, and I also surfed to watch a lot of YouTube videos. We loved our old ViewSonic, and we love this new one, too. The colors on the projection screen are crisp, luminous and warm at the same time. My husband got it out of the box and between the moment he called up to me to ask how about a movie and my finishing up whatever I was doing and walking down to join him, he had the machine out of the box and hooked up. It was that easy. We use a laptop with a DVD player in it to play movies. The only thing left to do now is to unscrew the old one and put the new one on the ceiling bracket. We also hooked up the external sound system in no time. I want to mention that we tried several LED lighted projectors of different price ranges before coming back to buy this one, as we hoped LED would be a more energy friendly choice. Turns out the colors on the LED lit ones were horribly cold, mostly in the blue/black range and also all of them had terribly loud fans systems on them, both criteria on which we dont want to make concessions. We like to hear the soundtrack without straining our ears to filter out the noise of the cooling system. This ViewSonic is quiet and I cannot say enough of its awesome colors. We both are very pleased with our new projector and look forward to years of entertainment. If you like my review and found it helpful, thanks for letting me know!

I found it now for a couple months and I love it. I wanna the projector to play movies in my backyard and so far so good!

This is an awesome projector. I tried out one of the cheaper mini projectors for around $100 but it did not cut it. This one has exceptional quality and the picture is very clear with plenty of color. Even with light coming from the window, or the ceiling light on, it is still plenty bright enough to watch. HDMI port lets you plug in laptops, monitors or gaming devices. Using it on my wall for now and still works great.
