ViewSonic VA2746MH-LED 27 Inch Full HD 1080p LED Monitor with HDMI and VGA Inputs for Home and Office Black

After about 11 months I started losing picture randomly. I did some troubleshooting- repled HDMI cables and happened to upgrade my video card around that time. I had the same issue with the new cables and both video cards. Unfortunately, support was not particularly helpful and indicated I would have to pay to package up and send my only monitor back (I was in grad school at the time) for them to help. Since then the problem has worsened and I will be looking for a larger monitor(s) with a higher budget. I dont think Ill be purchasing a ViewSonic.

Very poor resolution

Not sure how this got so many positive reviews as the monitor has terrible shadowing when viewed at various angles. As I use this for design work, consistent shading and color values across the screen are necessary. This is on the lower price point so was not expecting premium HD, but was expecting consistency. I switched to a slightly more expensive competitors monitor w IPS, which as I understand is helpful w consitent viewing of colors, light/dark....and the difference is so apparent.

The image quality is good, but the sound of the speakers is very poor. And it also it doesnt come with a HDMI cable, which is very necesaary and ir should of come with one

Almost feels like it stretched over a larger area. Will prob return...

Bought it for my music studio, works great. Picture is nice and clear.

I used to be samsung fan with monitors. But this monitor changed my mind about it

This is exactly what I was looking for. Its the perfect size and it does exactly what I need it to do.

A purchase for a friend. She needed one for work. When it arrived she was very shocked and happy.

I went from a ViewSonic 19 inch 10 year old monitor to a ViewSonic 27 new monitor and the difference was amazing. Its not a $1000 monitor by any means, but for $160.00, I dont think youll find a better one out there for the quality of the image. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because the sound quality is just awful. It sounds like a 1960 pocket transistor radio. The sound quality is only worth one star by itself. Luckily Im not using the monitors sound, I have speakers hooked up to my system. But if this is a monitor that is also your main sound source, then I would look someplace else.
