I would call it gently abrasive. You will have to scrub hard to get it to dig into the tough stains.

Works wonders on my truck! I live in the country where bugs are thick and this took the bugs right off. Dont use on your chrome though - scratch the crap out of my chrome.

I wish I had bought this instead of spending the money on the bug wash spray. It didnt scratch my car and cleaned off more junk than I thought I had.

It didnt clean as well as I expected but my expectations may have been a little high. It really did do a good job without scratching the fiberglass surface.
