Not course to take off much sap but it is stronger than most cloth/sponges.

This is a very well made sponge - Two heavy layers of mesh compared to the single layer on the common yellow sponge. I am completely satisfied with it.

These sponges work well, however they are much smaller than I expected that they would be based on the picture. My fault for not looking further in the description to see they are only 6 x 3.5 - hey they were cheap what the heck.
