Unfortunately, after one week of using it for work the metal hardware on the strap snapped, rendering the strap unusable. > 24 hourThis is a great briefcase. I bought it to fit my 17 laptop and it is big enough for that and will accommodate several other items. I bought it to use as a messenger bag and it comes with a shoulder strap for that use. This items craftmanship and quality is top notch. It is a very nice looking dark brown color and you can tell that it is well made. I would highly recommend this briefcase.
