The item was solid. Swift to send. Quality of the wrapping was breathtaking.

The response time on this monitor is excellent. HDR in game is outstanding, but HDR tends to gray out the desktop. Meaning on the desktop only. Watching a show on Netflix, etc or playing a game really shows off the HDR. This monitor has skinny bezels and is very adjustable (height, tilt, etc). I would recommend this monitor

So I want everyone to know I was very hesitant to buy this monitor, but I had two Dell 27 Gaming monitors that were trash so I needed something comparable that wasnt $400 because once you go 1440p 144hz theres no going back... well I got the box unpacked everything, the stand was sturdy from what I could tell but I had a vesa mount for multi-monitor setup so I didnt use it. I turned my PC on and I was BLOWN AWAY. The color reproduction is just so good, its very vibrant and feel more true to the tone than my Dells ever were. Then I activated the overclocking for 180hz and while it was a pain in the ass it wasnt impossible to figure out just by muddling with the menu. Its packed with all kinds of useless gamer features like a cross hair and timers which are cool but I dont know that anyone would ever use them. Lastly there was one major flaw with the monitor which I didnt find out about until coming home in the dead of night and getting on my PC. Here I am sitting in low ambient lighting and I turn my monitor on to be BLINDED BY THE LIGHT OF A THOUSAND SUNS!!! The Viotek logo appears centered upon a white screen and turning it on is akin to pulling the pin on a flashbang directly in front of you and watching it go boom. My wife who wasnt even in direct contact with the monitor winced in pure agony... Beware the wrath of the logo...

The first one I ordered had a dead pixel (or two) in the bottom left corner, which was sort of bearable, but Viotek has a dead pixel warranty, and its $300 so wanted to get good value for that money. The second one had 4 or 5 defective pixels on black. I was joking with a friend that this might happen with the replacement, but didnt expect that it actually would. I didnt even bother taking the time to set it up this time; just took the monitor out, plugged it in, and ran the Eizo monitor test. If youre even a little OCD, you might want to reconsider this model, or take the gamble and see if youll get a better result than I did. Im probably going to be getting an ASUS, LG, Gigabyte, or MSI monitor, though the specs (on paper at least) probably will not be as impressive as this one.

If I did not have two Apple monitors that are more accurate running with it I would give it 5 stars.

No dead pixels, high refresh rate and cheap. But the Plug for the power makes a constant high pitch buzz when the monitor is off or isnt displaying anything. Loud enough that I can hear it across the room.

This monitor is great! I have only 2 problems with it. First, when I set it to 180hz I get color banding. I first noticed it when painting a car in Forza Horizon 4. As I changed the hue bands would move across the body of the car. After I saw it there I began to notice it elsewhere also. Reducing the refresh to 165hz fixed the problem. I havent tried the 240hz hack to see if it does it there also. Second, and more important as it could cause the monitor to be damaged if I am not careful, the stand doesnt securely fit into the monitor. The latch doesnt fully engage. If I use it in landscape, which I prefer anyway, it will hang on the stand and not fall. But, I can pull on the bottom of the screen and it pulls away from the bottom of the connector to the stand. If I lift it the stand will fall off. If I ever want to use it in portrait, it will probably fall off and maybe break. I have it where I like it for now, but, if I ever need to move it I have to be very careful.
