Be careful where you point when opening this umbrella. It explodes open very quickly. Otherwise, the umbrella appears to be sturdy. Once it opens you will not be able to fit it back into the sleeve it comes with, unless you are really clever and can fold it up like when you first get it.

This umbrella is an absolute nightmare, once open it takes all my strength to get this garbage closed. I cant use it anymore. Lost my money.

The very forst time we used this..It turned inside out!! Not weather proof and super hard to close!

Hard to close

Pros: Very compact. Size of a 12-16 oz can/bottle when folded. Has plastic retainers to keep from opening all the way up when wind is string. Cons: Since it’s very slim, this is only good for 1 person. It is kinda hard to close, requires extra amount of strength than other umbrella’s i’ve used. Maybe because it needs to be broken in, but i find myself needing both hands to close which is mildly infuriating. When pressing the button to open up, it snaps! Gotta be careful when opening to make sure you don’t hit anyone and anything. The metal pieces are also sharp, since it snaps open very violent, you need to clear that area, also when you close make sure no fingers are caught.

Great travel size umbrella. Color is classy and size is good for one person. It’s tightly sprung so it opens fast. It takes some effort to close back up but has a backward arrow button that releases the umbrella. From there you can wrap it and then collapse the handle. It’s sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’ll break anytime soon.
