My little grandson who is only 4 months loved this. The lights caught his attention. He is just learning to grab things and he immediately reached for this. Then my little 1 1/2 year old granddaughter took her turn and loved playing with tit too. She had fun pressing the buttons and making the lights go off. Our 9 month old loves this toy! Shes had it for a couple of months in the car and its her favorite toy. The volume control is great. We can barely hear it in the front seat lol Also, this is a smaller toy. It fits in the kids lap in the car seat. The buttons are smaller than her hand.

My granddaughter loves her musical cow! This is one of her favorites toys.
