> 3 dayUnfortunately it’s not that sturdy. One of the ribs broke after second use. Not sure how is that happened, didn’t even got into the heavy rain with wind. Very disappointed.

> 3 dayThe compact size makes it easier to bring along for unexpected rain. A double canopy is critically important for any area where the wind blows... probably just about everywhere it rains. Opens and closes well (better on opening... but thats normal) with the press of a button. Sturdy and well made, so expect it to last several years.

> 3 dayI have always been a loyal Totes umbrella buyers over the years and they don’t hold us as well any more. Time for a change. I saw this Vuteehy Inverted folding design hand umbrella and was intrigued. It is also my first double canopy hand umbrella. I have used double canopy designs in a golf umbrella but those are huge. Having it in a length less than 13 inches is ideal for my daily commute to work. It fits well on the side pockets of my backpack. It is not light but my similar sized Totes was about the same weight. It comes with a nice zippered pouch. The power of the auto open is robust and I like the two tone canopy look. I appreciate they stressed the importance of the 16 ribs to fortify the umbrella. The handle is OK. I had better and grippier handles in the past. What will be new is the inverted design. Hoping to have rain soon so I can see for myself how the water drops stay inside. Praying for rain soon! I like the umbrella already – looking for another so wife can enjoy the new features as well. 4.5 Stars! ½ star taken away for the handle which could be better.

Greater than one weekThis umbrella is worth the cost. I really like the auto up down button on the handle! The separate wind canopy should be very helpful in windy conditions to prevent the umbrella from flipping inside out. The zippered umbrella sleeve is a nice addition to protect the umbrella for when not in use. The close upward feature truly is helpful when getting in a vehicle in a downpour. Just use care to keep the umbrella upright until you place it in a footwear downward to drip! I would have appreciated a choice of colors or prints rather than only black.

Greater than one weekEver since I had 3 umbrellas break on me in one day due to strong winds, Ive been looking out for good windproof umbrellas. One of my favorites is the Senz umbrella - it has an unusual shape that attracts attention whenever Im using it. But it doesnt collapse, is not automatic, and I usually just keep it in the car. For automatic umbrellas, I really like these automatic open / close types. A push of a button will open it up, and a push of the same button will collapse the canopy - youll still need to retract the shaft manually before the button will open it up again. There are multiple umbrellas like this, but there are some minor differences: 1. When folded, is the top part of the umbrella outside or inside? Outside means its easier to dry it, inside means it is less messy as it wont drip if you hold it correctly. This one has the wet part inside. 2. Does the spring loaded shaft need to be pressed in completely in one operation? There are some umbrellas designed such that the shaft will not spring out forcefully if you didnt retract it all the way till it clicks. This one does not do that. 3. Wind vent - this one has a two layer canopy to allow wind blowing from under the canopy to vent through instead of adding additional stress to the frame (especially the ribs). I can only test the wind vent by forcefully pulling the open umbrella towards me - there has not been any day with strong winds since I got the umbrella. But by doing the test with this and other umbrellas, I can clearly see that there is significantly less flex on the ribs compared to other umbrellas. What I also like about this umbrella is that the handle is large. I have another umbrella that is slightly shorter when collapsed, but they achieve this by making the handle uncomfortably small, making it uncomfortable to grip. This one has a grip that is almost an inch longer and it is much more comfortable to hold. One thing I didnt quite like about this is that it doesnt seem as easy to fold - it takes more time to arrange the pleats so that they would roll up neatly. Im not sure why this is so. Overall, a great umbrella, not perfect, but fairly close. I have some slo mo footage of it opening and closing. Doesnt really add much to the review, but quite fun to watch. Ill post it once I get it edited.

> 3 dayI love this umbrella and the way it collapses. Way better than my $80 umbrella the push button open and close is good.

08-06-2025I was excited to get this umbrella from just reading the description, but when I actually got to see it I was super impressed with it! You can feel the quality of this umbrella right out of the package, the material is very thick and the stitching is not going to give way. It has the double canopy so it will never flip out of shape, and the inverted folding design shuts out all of the water outside. It has 16 ribs that are reinforced, sturdy and windproof. It is very compact and lightweight, but because it is compact it does have a shorter handle. For me, that is not an issue but it may be for someone else. The umbrella has the one hand operation, which is a feature I love! It is just a great design and great umbrella that I can highly recommend. I love this umbrella so much that I will probably get at least one more. My only problem with it is that it is not raining today so I can use it!
