The compact size makes it easier to bring along for unexpected rain. A double canopy is critically important for any area where the wind blows... probably just about everywhere it rains. Opens and closes well (better on opening... but thats normal) with the press of a button. Sturdy and well made, so expect it to last several years.

The umbrella is generally good! But today it suddenly broke. It looks like a small plastic pulley assembly near the top of the umbrella got bent, and then a string broke and got pulled into the mechanism. The umbrella wont fully open, and wont fully close either. The most strenuous use was on a windy beach a few weeks ago.

My umbrella broke the first day I used it. It was not like the video this umbrella sucks. I had to return it do not buy it.

I like the dual flaps. It rains pretty hard in Hawaii and the Bay Area so this umbrella is perfect!

Absolute trash don’t waste your time or money.. broke after 1st use … will not stay closed

I was able to use this once before it failed. My initial impression was that it was great. Opens and closes nicely. Compact enough to carry in my backpack, but large enough to keep me dry on rainy days. I like the inverted design and the vents to help mitigate wind damage. Unfortunately, the second time I used it I realized the small amount of thread holding one of the brackets in place had failed. This left me walking across campus in the rain with no umbrella. Its held together with what seems to be metal bands in other spots, so unsure why they didnt do this on the tips where failure would create the biggest issue. I could repair this with a bit of thread, but I shouldnt have to on a new product.

Only used it once and it won’t fold back properly. It’s not really worth the one time purchase.
