> 3 dayReally impressed with this speaker. It sounds much better than I would have expected, and the Mpow bluetooth 5.0 dongle I got for my laptop keeps it connected all over my house. Range is not as good connected to my phone, I think its bluetooth 4.2 Battery life is excellent and it can be used while its charging. Sound settings are somewhat limited, there are only two settings. Bass boost on is the default setting, you can turn it off which the manual calls treble boost? this is indicated by the blue status light blinking, which can be slightly annoying in a dark room. I didnt like the bold white lettering on the grill, so I used a sharpie black marker to black it out. Overall Im very happy with this unit and recommend it.

> 3 dayReplacing my boom box borrowed by my son, I had a unit from another maker rated at 30 watts output, to be sure it was loud, but it occurred to me that with only a 1500mah battery that most power delivered at 5 volts was 7.5 watts ....so the power was its peak output and not rms , which is a more realistic measure. This thing comes with a 5volt 12000mah battery which means the battery itself can literally output 60 watts , When I picked up the box it hit me like a ton of bricks that I am working with nearly 10 times the power as this thing is heavy, turned it on , and realized I got the power advertised, this thing is LOUD, havent had time to rate the sound , but it is promising, will know tonight when I go to drown out co-workers music with K-Pop :) Plays a solid 4 hours at full volume before you get the battery at 20% beep thing. Charges fast as well, one hour on a 10 watt fast charger brings it back to 70% !

Greater than one weekI bought the little brother of this the D8. I returned it as it did not have the boom I was looking for. This one isn’t window shaking but it definitely has some boom. And the other ranges are very rich and clear. I don’t even turn it up past 1/4 and it’s loud.

> 3 dayIm only going to review the sound and in a very non-technical manner. Just basically, does it sound good or not. When I turned it on for the first time, I was a little disappointed. It was at low volume and it sounded rather muddy. But then as I turned up the volume, it sounded better and better. Got all the way to full volume and there was no noticeable distortion and it was very loud with plenty of bass. So if youre looking for an inexpensive speaker to just crank it up and listen to some rock, rap or country, its a great little speaker. For more subtle listening at lower volumes, might not be what youre looking for. To get the most out of it, start with the speaker on low volume and turn up the volume on your source to full, like your phone or whatever. Then increase the volume on the speaker until you have it as loud as you can stand it. The louder, the better.

> 3 dayThe sound is impressive for its size. The NFC works great. The buttons on top are large and easy to read. You can forward/reverse by holding the volume buttons. The battery can last a couple work days at half volume. My only nitpicks are you have to hold the power button for what feels like forever to turn it on and off. Its probably like 3-5 seconds but it feels like 10. This maybe wouldnt be an issue, but if you leave the area with your phone for say 10-15 minutes it powers off. Also it can take a long time to charge if you charge while using it and wont completely charge in a 8 hour work period. This is while charging off a desktop pc usb 3.0. Basically I wish it came with a fast charger, but it does come with a braided usb charge cable thats maybe around 3ft long so thats better than nothing I suppose. Also included is a 3.5mm cable. All in all its not a bad little box and the sound is on par with others costing twice as much. Im not sure how long it will last with everyday use, but if it doesnt last a year Ill be sure to come back with an update.

> 3 dayThe speaker is very good. Very powerful. The controls are a little strange though. The volume controls do not follow my phones volume. As an example if I have the speaker volume turned low and use my phone it will only go so loud. You need to raise the speaker volume manually at this point. The volume controls also require you press one push at a time to raise or lower the volume (no press and hold). You must long press the power button to turn off or on. Other than these few quirks the speaker is great.
