I have two rather large boy rats and I had trouble finding a good hidey that could fit both comfortably. This hideout is large enough and looks better than the plastic hideys. My rats love hiding and sleeping in it or laying on top of it. It seems safe to chew on although my boys dont chew it, so it could last a long time.

I do really like these huts, but my guinea pigs dont chew on them like they use to. They use to tear these things up and there would be nothing left. Now they wont touch it.. its got me thinking theyre made from something different or have sprays on them??

Very bad quality. It looks nothing like the picture shows. It is a different product only same shape and size. Mine has bigger holes and sharp wood sticking out in the inside. This worth $2

Most importantly the Guinea pigs love it. The chew peep holes in the bottom inch and tops too. We stick treats through the holes and the most skiddish piggies hide and watch us as us humans entertain them daily. Love love love twigloos. This particular one should only fit 1 pig, but occasionally 2 will pack in. We usually buy the BIG huts - and they pack in on top of each other because they can I guess... all peeping through their strategic peep holes...

Excellent hut and chew for guinea s, they loved it.

I got the larger one that is around $20. Guinea pigs will chew this up, so dont get this thinking it will last unless you supervise as a play time hut.

This house does not look like the pictures. The pictures clearly show rounded twigs. What I received was flat whicker looking weave that looks like a cheap stained whicker basket. Was really excited about getting this product because of the reviews, which also show rounded twigs but you will not be getting what is advertised. Do not recommend this product.

Our 2 guinea pigs love this hide but the also love to chew on it as well, which was also what it was intended for. You may be looking to replace it within a year due to the chewing. At least I never have to buy chew sticks since the love nibbling on their home.
