> 3 dayIt seems pretty nice, two layers make a medium weight quilt. In between two layers of cotton, halfway through pinning with safety pins, a tiny caterpillar that looked like a little worm until I saw it’s micro feet. Then another little bug crawled out. I guess I should have washed it. Had a slight chemical smell also I guyI should have washed it first.

05-06-2025I liked this batting so much that I ordered two more. I create a lot of quilts and I donate them to great causes or to family, so I want them to last decades. This batting is woven evenly and consistently throughout-and it’s very warm. I love quilting with it on my long arm machine because it doesn’t give off a lot of lint or create any problems for the machine. The end product looks smooth and even throughout-making my stitches look great. I not only recommend it, I order it over and over.

> 3 dayI used this batting while making a weighted blanket. I wanted warmth without adding a lot of weight. I used a layer of batting in each side of the blanket and when I finished putting the blanket together, before adding the beads, the blanket only weighed 4.2 pounds. The blanket measured 49x70. That was 2 layers of batting and 4 layers of muslin. I had enough batting left over that I was able to piece together 3 large strips for a twin quilt. Its a good value for your money. I plan to purchase it again. Maybe even in a larger size depending on what I need.
