Ive used other synthetic batting before and sometimes had problems with it pulling fibers through. None with this. Im very pleased. I like that its light weight for a baby quilt.

Doesnt come out of the needleholes when quilting. Perfect for quilts - they can be used in the summer or the winter and the temperature is good either way. Lays flat - I use this both inside of the quilt sandwich as well as nailed to the wall to create a design wall that I lay quilt blocks on. Works great!

While I did not buy this batting for quilting, it was perfect for my sofa. I have a 1960s sofa and due to age, the foam seating pads were loosing their “padding power” and the cover was starting to sag. The foam is glued to the frame so I didn’t want to replace it. I needed just a thing layer of padding to make the seats full again. This batting was perfect for that! Soft, thin and just enough thickness to give my sofa that little bit of fullness it needed. While I think this would make a nice summer blanket, it has some great uses if you need to add padding/softness to furniture.

I use this batting in quilts that I made for my great grandchildren. Makes them just the right weight for the kids and they love them. I will continue to use this batting.

I purchased this with the Insul-Bright insulated batting to make oven mitts and pot holders for Christmas gifts. I sandwiched the insulated batting between two layers of this cotton batting and the projects turned out nicely. If youre looking to make a thin throw light quilt this product is the way to go. Warm & Natural seems to be a good brand. I havent bought anything from them that I havent liked so far. The batting is thin (as most cotton battings are I would imagine) and this had no noticeable seeds or anything that would impeded my sewing. I recommend it.

Warm & Natural is the finest needle-punched cotton batting! Only 15% of all cotton grown in the USA is the proper length, thickness and color. Out of this 15%, only 5% is clean enough for Warm &Natural! This soft, natural cotton has never been washed or bleached with harsh chemicals. It"s kinder to the environment and kinder to your batting. The cotton undergoes a mechanical cleaning process that removes all of the seeds and seed coats along with the majority of leaf and stem remnants. The remaining tiny plant particles lend a special look to crafts like no other and won"t harm your quilt. Quilt or tie up to 10" apart! Quilt Warm & Natural right out of the package, as pre-washing is not necessary. Once quilted, machine wash and dry your finished quilt in cold water. 3% shrinkage can be expected in the first wash with cold water. To achieve an antique puckered look use warm water for 5% shrinkage. Warm & Natural won"t distort when hanging, hooping or when used in quilt frames. It can be used for both batting and as an exterior craft fabric to create stuffed snowmen and rabbits. FIBER CONTENT: 87.5% Natural Cotton & 12.5% Polypropylene (Scrim).
