It does its job well for the most part. The only problem I had with it was in pulling keys stuck in a corner (escape,f1, f4, f5,f8,f9,f12, prtscrn, pause, etc) I will consider the plastic ring version next time

Wire key cap puller tool keepin it real in the field. Works great for removing key caps from mechanical keyboards. Removing key caps is necessary for cleaning a mechanical keyboard, or for more involved maintenance on the keyboard such as replacing key caps or switches. Most people would not attempt the latter, but as for the former, it is something everyone who owns a mechanical keyboard should do at somewhat regular intervals. At $6, its still expensive for what it is, but this is among the better key cap puller tool designs, and it functions just intended. Doesnt work so great on the space bar due to the inability of the wires to open past a certain point, but that is unavoidable in this sort of design. The end of the handle is also designed to be used as a pry tool, though I have dedicated plastic pry tools, and would probably never use it for this purpose. In summary, a great, and necessary tool for any owner of a mechanical keyboard.

Not much you can say about a key cap puller. Its nice that it uses flexible wire instead so that it can grab the wider keys like Shift and Backspace.

Removed 87 keys to clean my keyboard. Not one problem.. Definitely recommended over the cheapo circular keypullers that come with most keysets.

This is simply a keycap puller. I have never had another brand so it is hard to compare, but this tools seems to get the job done! The tapered handle is a nice useful touch that would come in handy when taking apart a board. Would recommend!

Ive used a flat head in the past on some cheap membrane keyboards but I didnt want to try that on my new mechanical keyboard. This tool safely removes the keys without damaging them. You can also pull multiple keys before unloading them out of the clasp making it much quicker to clean your board.

Works great. I used it on my Compaq keyboard and had no problems in removing any of the keys for cleaning.

Its a keycap puller and it just works. Its much better than the little plastic ones and it can store three keys at a time.

Theres not much to say about this. The two wires flex around the key so you can easily pull up and remove the key cap. Its narrow enough to fit in tight areas caused by the shroud on a lot of keyboards (for example the escape key which in a lot of cases can be hard to get to since it is surrounded on all sides by the keyboards shroud). The back end of the handle comes to an edge, so in can be used as like a shim or pry tool. If you have to remove many or all the keys on a boards, its worth the couple bucks over using the little ring type of key cap puller that often comes with mechanical keyboards
