Like others have said it randomly stopped working and throws a repair prompt. Then the PS4 will say its it has a problem. Completely deleted everything then it wont format back to the system past the return period so Im stuck with a piece of crap that didnt even work for one year ... Id recommend looking at other devices

Excellent portable hard drive, expensive but does the job well.

Works great with the Xbox One and very easy to configure. Solved our internal memory problem.
