This is a top-notch WD (Western Digital) Solid State Drive. Like every WD (Western Digital) hard drive or solid-state drive that I have ever purchased, they last a long, long time, are well-made, and always function perfectly.

So far everything has gone smoothly. Speeds are as advertised. It does not warm up over 50 C in my case.

I love building low budget PCs for friends and family for years and this drive amazed me at how well it performs for how low the cost is. Buy this if you want a drive for gaming and to load fast.

This drive is installed as my main boot drive in my HTPC. It boots up quick, works well and read/write speeds are within 10% of reported speeds. Ill take that as a win. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating is ... it seems to run hotter than my other Sabrent drives. But it works and does the job.

However the fact it worked is amazing. The Samsung Evo Drives i could not get to work.

The WD_Black NVME SSD is so fast for an amazing price. Had no issues with it and was very easy to install. Has a great heat dissipation system, so it stays cool even without a heatsink. Definitely recommend it.

I first thought this was terrible as it performed horribly using a Sabrent USB-C enclosure and an Anker USB-C enclosure but then I tried a Kingston stick and got equally bad results. In the end my conclusion was the USB/C enclosures are terrible on Macs. Put it in a Windows PC and it’s doing great.
