Got a 1 TB as a Prime Day Lightning deal for $113.99. I know, right!

This SSD worked on the PS5. When i placed the order Amazon had another just like this one for $20 dollars more that is the official licensed product. The only difference I can see is in the pictures on Amazon. This one has a orange light and the other has a blue light. You can not see these lights when you have it installed with the white covers on. I love that this SSD has the heatsink built on it.

I purchased this for a PS5. Easy to install, noticed slight increase in load time. Definitely worth it.

Excellent performance so far

I compared the 850x 1gb to the Kingston FURY Renegade 1gb, and the 850x beats the Kingston hands down, primarily when it comes to write speed.

Super easy install and I can play COD again...

I bought this along with a recommended heat sink (MHQJRH M.2 2280 SSD heatsink, Double-Sided Heat Sink, with Thermal Silicone pad for PC / PS5 M.2 PCIE NVMe SSD or M.2 SATA SSD)

Had the 980 pro with ps5 digital and now I have ps5 disc with this internal ssd and everything is fantastic except the speed is no where near the Samsung 980pro I purchased the day ps5 update launched for extra storage, also I had the Samsung 980 without a heat sink installed. Wonder if that’s why?
