Install was very easy and straightforward. I bought the heatsink to go with it. The PS5 did not boot immediately, which worried me a bit, but on the second attempt it recognized the drive and started formatting. I now have more storage than I know what to do with lol.

This SSD took less than 15 minutes to install. Once installed, I initiated the formatting to begin and this was blazing quick. Less than 30 seconds. Designed with PS5 in mind.

Got this to upgrade internal PS5 storage. Works flawlessly and very easy to manage.

This drive is very fast, opening things on my PC open very quickly. I do some gaming and a lot of my in game load times are only a few seconds, compared to more than half a minute on my previous SSD drive. Installation was very straightforward and pretty easy. I have the model with the heatsink, so I wasnt able to use the heatsink on my motherboard, which is fine. My bios recognized the drive fine and Windows installation was very smooth. If you are looking for a fast internal drive, I would highly recommend this one.

I ordered this as an upgrade to a 1.0TB Sabrent Rocket 4.0 (that still works, but I wanted more capacity + the SN850X is a newer/better performing unit).

Super easy to install in my PS5. Immediate hard drive upgrade with blazing transfer speeds. Can’t go wrong with this. Just buy it!

Easy to fit

Been a PlayStation user since the original system and have owned two of most of them. Since the PS3 Sony has had the terrible habit of launching consoles with hard drives and SSDs that have laughable capacity considering the file sizes of the games. One of the good aspects of the PS5 is that they make it extremely simple to add an SSD to augment the minuscule stock offerings.
