As advertised, small, lightweight and sturdy.

Sturdy umbrella but not lightweight.I have to use all my arm strength to close it. I hope this eases up with use or that my muscles get stronger.

We ordered one red and one black but received two black umbrellas. Looks like good product. Leaving for international trip too soon to remediate so we will live with the order as received.

I truly love this umbrella. This umbrella looks/feels sturdy, well-constructed with solid parts, and beautiful with the chic sunset yellow (aka, mango) fabric that repels water well and drys quickly. Its auto-opening/closing is gentle and smooth unlike a lot other auto-opening ones that open forcefully with a loud noise. After auto-closing the shaft is easily pushed back in. I broke a manual umbrella a year and an auto-open one less than a year. I use an umbrella almost every day during my morning walk in the rainy NW. I felt terrible to toss so many umbrellas without repair service, which dumped in landfills. I hope this umbrella is the one I’ve been looking for. So far it is!

looking through the add I see nothing as far as the overall diameter when fully open. Well its kind of small at 38 tip to tip.. Just opened so I have not had a chance to put it too use. But I was a bit underwhelmed by its small size. It is however built much sturdier than you average umbrella.

I bragged on this umbrella for a year, until it broke and the company failed even to respond after I submitted a photo and explanation. I did this through the manufacturers website. Id looked forward to a lifetime of loyalty to the brand and more purchases of the same product (as birthday/Xmas presents, for a second to keep in the car; Id already bought a second for my housemate), until I discovered that the companys promise of the last umbrella youll ever buy is simple advertising. The two stars are for how well the umbrella worked, until it didnt. Had I heard from the company, even if only to explain why they werent warranting their product, more stars would have been awarded. Such a shame.

So far this umbrella has performed very well. We have had several windy days here in KCMO prior to our Polar Vortex and the umbrella did not sustain any damage due to the high winds. The umbrellas steel construction is different than most and that is what makes this umbrella very strong and did not result in the fabric covering it coming apart from each steel skeletal rod. I love this umbrella and so far, it has made the grade. I recommend this umbrella for anyone to purchase.

This umbrella is the perfect size, brilliant bright color, great mechanism and even fantastic packaging! Very well made.
