> 3 daySince I received this umbrella, there has been no rain to truly test it out in, so this review is merely on its physical traits. First thing to mention about this umbrella (the collapsible) is that it is big (not compact/ultra portable) AND heavy.. you will definitely NOT be storing this in your pockets, but HOPEFULLY that translates to sturdy and trustworthy during a rainstorm and more importantly not flip inside out (fingers crossed)! I was a little nervous seeing others had issues with theirs not opening or having other defects (as mine shipped from Canada and the reviews did not appear favorable for their customer service), but so far mine doesnt appear to be affected.. of course the ultimate test during use is still to come. This is definitely not an umbrella you would throw in your bag for casual or daily carrying/casual use if needed.. their smallest umbrella (the travel) may be a better option for casual carrying (according to their website its over half a pound lighter, but still almost a foot tall). Another negative: this only has one button for automatic opening, it is a manual close. Perhaps the biggest negative of all? The price. Why would I spend so much on an umbrella? Lets just say my hopes and expectations are high! Some positives I can mention: the handle is semi curved in your hand, which should resist/counteract the forces of wind pushing you. It also comes in a nice selection of colors. And lastly, it has a vented canopy. Would I buy it again? Eh, Im on the fence with that one, 50/50. I wanted an umbrella mainly to leave in the car for downpours and for that reason I will be keeping it.

> 3 dayUmbrella is sturdy and great quality, however the button to engage the umbrella is too sensitive and can easily activate with a slight touch

> 3 dayThis is by far the sturdiest umbrella Ive ever purchased. I gave it an overall 5 star review because I think it would be great for people who are outside in the rain a lot (weatherman). In my case, I found it to be way too heavy for my use, and returned it for that reason.
