Its cheaply made, not for professional use

The inside diameter brush works nicely, but the outside diameter brush failed on its second use, not second use on this job, but second use since being taken out of the package. Like the other review mentioned, the hex bit spun inside the plastic housing for the OD brush. The plastic hub is too big to fit into a 1/2 drill, so I ended up using the OD brush manually, which defeats the purpose of a powered brush. All Weiler tools will be suspect to me now.

Received as advertised and as scheduled.

This thing works great. Saves a ton of time. The bad reviews are most likely from people who do not know how to use it properly. The red part of the tool slides forward, (completely burying the inner wire brush in the middle section of the red part) to clean the outside of pipe, then slides back(to expose the inner wire brush) to clean the inside of fittings. Im betting the people who broke theirs were accidentally cleaning the inside of the pipe, big no no. One star taken off because the red outside of pipe cleaner can be difficult to slide causing you to force it and scrape up your fingers or hand on the inside of fitting cleaner but Im not sure if it would work as good if it was looser.

Absolute garbage. It broke the first time I used it.

Ill never clean 1/2 copper pipe the old way again. This does a great job. Note that the two parts can be separated. The brush that cleans the inside of a fitting can be put on the drill by itself. I prefer it that way. I have a perfect hex shank that allows me to use the other brush by itself too. I prefer that. But, their intent is to keep the two parts together and extend and retract the inner brush depending on which you need. That should work fine unless both brushes are accidentally grabbing at the same time.

Im a lisenced plumber the item was used, damaged and repackaged. Very unproffesional! Great tool if it was new.

As cool of an idea it is. I thought everyone knew to grab a fitting brush with some pumps just below the handle. Then pivot the handle back and forth till it breaks off. Now you can put the fitting brush directly into a drill.

It would be great stuff if it last for while but it didn’t.

Hook one of these up to a small cordless drill (to limit torque, speed and bulkiness) and throw it on your tool belt, and youll have super clean copper pipes in seconds again and again. Buy this. You wont regret it.
