Excellent 1-2-3 blocks, each machined to precision. Plenty of through-holes with five 3/8-16 UNC threaded. Properly wrapped and stored in machine oil. These are the blocks you are looking for.

I sat on the fence about buying these WEN blocks for several months, but now that I pulled thr trigger, I find myself using them for a bunch of different of applications such as 90 degree squares, quick setup blocks foe my saws, stop blocks for my drill press, and gauging flatness when sanding small pieces. These are the cheapest blocks I was able to find online and in retail stores in my area. If you think youll use them, just get them, theres so many uses for them you wont likely have buyers remorse.

The measurements are perfect and very useful around the shop.

Quality is appropriate for the price. However, the chamfers are not precise. If you need nice chamfers, keep on looking or DIY. These ones look like they have been ground with a 80-120 grit belt sander freehandedly. Thats strange because the sides are nicely ground to a shiny finish. For this reason, one point off. All threaded holes were able to accept a 3/8-16 screw. I havent checked whether such a screw would be able to pass through a threaded hole and mate with the thread on the opposite side but the threaded holes are coaxial. Arrived lightly greased, easy to clean with mild detergent, no corrosion evident. I didnt measure them as I dont need submillimeter precision.

I really dont know why I like these so much. I guess because they are a heavy, precise piece of engineering. I like buying things in the variety of Last one Ill ever have to buy. And thats this.

Great value for the money… other reviews seem to judge these as if they were gauges, but for this price, very useful 321 blocks for the hobby machinist..

True these aren’t bored properly to be connected together easily. But they are handy nonetheless. Great for woodworking. Much more accurate than any squares I’ve purchased here. Packaged in oiled paper so no rust.

Being as I use these as much for model building as for machining, 5 decimal place accuracy wasnt a concern. They seem well made and finished and do exactly what I bought them for.
