WEN 10423 3 x 2 x 1-Inch Steel-Hardened Precision 123 Blocks, Two Pack

I LOVE these. I watched a video on making a cardboard dollhouse and she mentioned these. I never heard of them but looked them up and ordered a set. (LOVE Amazon too) I started my own dollhouse (which I just finished the other day) and used the blocks a million times. They are small but heavy, compact and with straight edges.

Love these things for quick setup.

Nice 123 blocks

I love my setup blocks, I use them for setting up the table saw as well as router table. Having something that is a known size is very handy and these are well made and look like they will hold up very well.

PRO:

These came well packagedin a tight fitting cardboard box, wrapped in oil paper, no rust or dings. I work in quality control for a machine shop, so naturally I couldnt help but to take a few measurements to see how precise these really are, even though I only intend to use them for woodworking projects in my home shop. Measuring with a height gauge on a granite slab, variation from the nominal dimension was -.0001 to +.0003 inches. Then using a Romer arm CMM, I measured the angle of the 2 and 3 inch faces. They were square within about +/-.02°. Im satisfied with these results for what I paid for these.

I use these to calibrate my calipers and for use with my Snapmaker A350. Only thing I disliked was the fact that they arrived DRENCHED in oil, so much to the point where the parcel was soaking wet from the inside out with what smelled like WD-40. Nothing some shop towels I had couldnt fix, but it was very annoying to clean up.

These blocks are a great value, dimensions are as specified. Only downfall is they cannot be bolted together like some of the more expensive blocks.
