Full disclosure, Ive had the pictured Wescott scissors for 7+ years (so theyre dirty) but they served us well as our go-to pair of scissors until yesterday. I was cutting a thick piece of plastic string (maybe 2-3mm) and the scissors instantly snapped in half. The plastic cylinder keeping the screw in place snapped in half, so its irreparable.
