They are nice pair to have around he house but nothing special. They arent especially strong and struggle using them on thick plastic packaging.

Because who cant use a new pair of scissors. As I was approaching Christmas and started wrapping presents I realized I no longer has any scissors that cut paper. Sad I know. So like you I went to Amazon and started reading reviews. These are better than most because you can take them apart to sharpen to tighten the screw when they are loose. Good scissors should last and these I believe will. No reason to throw away unless the handle breaks.

These are the sharpest & longest lasting scissors. You’ll find yourself seeking them out over all others in the house. Great value as well. Don’t waste your money on any others.

This was the second set I bought the first set was good and I wrote a good review you can see in the pic below .the second pic was the recent set pictured they were clearly opened a used there was glue and tape where they were opened.the scissors looked like they were used not happy.

great price, but sometimes they are hard to open and cut.

Didnt have these very long and used one pair to cut the tape on a package I received. To my surprise, the scissors came apart and cant be fixed so it was thrown out. I am being very careful with the other pair.
