Great game! This is the second base set to the Star Realms game. You can use this in conjunction with the original deck. BUT you can also use this as a stand alone deck. No need to have the original to try out this one.

Great as an expansion to the base set or as a standalone game.

A great expansion that adds new cards. I was bummed when I openend it and had 14 scouts for starting, no vipers and missing 2 scouts. This is what lowered the thickness.

Great addition for Star Realms

I loved the first deck and this one is even better. One of the most replay able 2 player games ever. If your into deckbuilders but need a quick game this is it!

For less than $15, this was a great purchase. You could really feel the strength of set of cards as you build. There can be clinchers if you know what your opponent is going for and dash their dreams to the ground and rub it in their faces as you recycle in their face the cards they wanted. There are way more discards and drawing in this deck, it feels like.

This is the best 2-player game, and everyone weve introduced it to immediately goes and buys their own set. I bought Colony Wars with Star Realms so we could have more variety and play with up to 4 people, and all the options have been great. You cant get such a well-balanced 2-player game anywhere else, let alone at such a fantastic price and portable package, and after 2 years of playing this together multiple times every month, my husband and I still love it!

Colony wars is the 1st expansion for Star Realms and is a nice 2-player game that is quick and easy to learn. A little more balanced that the base Star Realms game I hear, but I dont have the base game, so I dont know. Frontiers is 4-player standalone out of the box, but combined with the base deck makes for a nice 4-player experience with a lot of cards between the decks(Base and Colony Wars). The game mechanics are a tad more complex than Frontiers, but easy to get a grip on.
