> 24 hourIve had really good luck with Whiteside bits. This one didnt disappoint. I needed to create depressions to hold loose items on my drill press cabinet and this bit worked great in the Baltic birch plywood with no chip-out and nice smooth rectangular depression. For deeper bowls youll probably want to add a bit extension.

> 24 hourSolid looking bit. Cuts very smoothly and easily. I have only used it in cedar but so far so good.

> 24 hourIf youre like I was, you buy any tool you can afford. Save your money and dont waste it on some no name tool company. You get what you pay for.... Spend a little extra and you will get better, longer lasting tools that at the end of the day, will save you time and money. You dont need to buy a whole set, but buy the most common bits from Whiteside, and you will be a much better maker.

> 24 hourUsed the router bit for the first time and while the bit cut clean and accurate, the guide bearing failed, froze up and spun on the shaft. The bit is still sharp and usable, but not as designed with a guide bearing.

> 24 hourYou can never go wrong with Whiteside bits. In my opinion these are the best bits for new woodworkers. They are a little on the pricey side, far from being the most expensive but the value they offer is well worth it. Quality is amazing and then stay sharp for a long time. I started out buying the cheapest bits I could that had decent reviews and they kept chipping or just blowing apart during use, and I ended up spending way more on multiple cheap bits than if I had just bought better ones from the start. Learn from my mistakes.

> 24 hourVery nice bit, though theres a bit of technique to learn in using it. The picture is for a different part; the 1376B is much wider and has a bearing. If you plan on building templates for using this bit, consider something like the 3018 bit as well for making the templates, and saving this bit for the actual work.
