This range extender works well, which I could not say about the first extender I bought. I spent over 2 hours on tech support with the first one I tried, in spite of it being the product recommeded by AT&T. The is highly recommeded.

Never could get to work and only have 30 days to figure out the problem.. which is the garbage non-extender.

Not sure whats up with all the 5 star reviews. Maybe I got a bad one but I cant recommend this device. The setup was easy enough, and it worked for a while, then got very flakey, dropping in & out at random. One thing I noticed is that it has to be VERY close to your wi-fi router to get the Green LED (strong signal). Whats the point if it has to sit so close to your router? Returned the item.

The item I received was not the one in the picture. Set up was very easy but the reception is minimal.

The instructions (which seriously need an English-speaking grammar review) insist in multiple places that no password is needed to connect. Every device demanded one and we could not advance. Instructions said in that case to search an IP address. This went nowhere, completely inaccurate. The WPS function required our router to have a button as well. It is a Spectrum rental router, and has no button. Tried to call tech support...awful attitude and also never solved anything. Easier to return and get a better product and company.

We ordered this as a result of not being able to get our 2 year old wifi extender to work with our new dual band router we had from Comcast. Packaging was great and the install/set up was quick and easy!! We mainly wanted to extend our wifi range to outside under our chickee hut, where we like to watch TV in the cooler weather.

I now have internet connectivity throughout the entire house, thanks to friends and family. Would I have to go some where and get turn on like at&t one more than do it come with a password

Even tho I got 100 percent signal on my ps4 from my router it still be lagging unless I move in right stop so it could reach where ps4 at., but this is better Cus even when I play street fighter and the person signal lo it still dont lag. So it 5 for sure.

Does what it should.

Have used it now for 3 weeks and our upstairs tv doesn’t glitch as much as it used to. Before it would load for several minutes and now it loads quick. Would recommend this.
