    Was good while it lasted, but just over a year after purchase the latch that holds the umbrella closed broke and now comes completely out of the handle. And I really only used it a half dozen times over the year, so not an issue of wear and tear. Basically the umbrella is unusable unless I hold the latch in place so that it doesnt fall out. Pretty disappointing.

    Ive had mine for two years. Its stood up to high winds & rain. No problem with the ribs, stitching or wood handle. Ive thrown mine in car & on porch lots of times; no damage. Everyone wants my umbrella, so I purchase them as gifts.
