Good quantity and good quality especially if you use a fair bit of white in toning your watercolours.

These colours are good value and are suitable for students and beginners too. This intense blue is a beautiful striking colour. Even the dirty water looked like a beautiful blue sea.

I really liked the color, this Cotman for beginners makes great shades. For this I would give 5 stars. I gave it 3 stars because it was really weird to receive this in an envelope without protection for this fragile item, the tube arrived crushed. As soon as I opened the tube, a lot of paint came out because of this. This was a waste of money. My advise: buy a box of colors instead of a tube, or in a website that takes care of fragile products.

Winsor & Newton Cotman Water Colours are a range of water colours that are made to Winsor & Newton"s normal high quality standards but costs are kept to an economical level by replacing some of the more costly pigments with less expensive alternatives. The range consists of 40 colours which possess good transparency, excellent tinting strength and good working properties.
