> 3 dayIt works on top or side of door. I use it to keep the door open for my cats. Theyre able to open the door with the crack it leaves. On the sides you cant change how open the door is, but if you put it on top (if you can reach) then you can choose how open the door is based on how close you out it to the hinge.

> 3 dayI needed something to prevent my one year old granddaughter from being able to shut the front load washer yet still leave it open for ventilation. After trying several ideas that failed not only was this the least expensive it is for now the most effective. These things are very versatile, cause no damage and require no installation. I’m sure she will figure out how to get them off but for now she cannot reach. I think these things can be used for a lot of things

> 3 dayUpdate: Lowered my rating because it hasnt held up to constantly being shut on. The 2nd one will be breaking soon as well. Our dog likes to lay in the bathroom because of the cool tile and dark room. But then he leans up against the door and it latches closed. Countless times wondering where our dog went! No more! Love these!

> 3 dayI keep my cats litter box in the hallway closet & my overly helpful toddler loves to make sure doors are shut constantly! It made for some issues so I was really happy to find something like this. Love that I can put it up high so it can’t be reached too.

> 3 dayI know these are designed for human children, but I bought these for my fur babies. I have five cats who like to lock themselves in my bedroom while Im sleeping or when Im not home. While I leave them with a water bowl and a litter box, they dont like to be left alone in a single area and have ripped up a piece of my parents carpet. Theyre not thrilled. I told them when I move out Ill replace it. Besides, two of the cats are technically theirs. Anyways, I just slide it on the door and it keeps them from closing the door and they can get in and out as much as they want.

> 3 dayI bought these so ny cat couldn’t shut herself in or out. Not sure how they would be with kids tho.

> 3 dayWhen my son took an interest in closing/slamming doors around 1 year old, we were obviously worried about his fingers getting pinched and also tired of having to reopen doors for him after he got himself stuck on one side of the door or the other. This product has completely prevented any injuries and keeps all avenues in the apartment open when we want them to be.

> 3 dayThese were super simple and easy to install! A lady that I dog sit for has this so their cat can go downstairs to eat. I live in my grandmas basement so all my cats things are down there. My uncle doesn’t care and will shut the door to where she can’t get to her litter box down stairs. Since I installed these to my doors in the basement I haven’t had any issues with her not being able to access needed rooms.

> 3 dayI had the habit of closing the door to my kitties litter box so I got this to break the habit and give my cats easy access incase the door tried to shut on its own. Does a great job for a simple contraption and so easy to remove and place unlike those things you have to stick to the walls and chip paint. 10/10 from me!

> 3 dayOur female cat loves to push doors closed. Then she will silently sit for hours and stare at the doorknob, trapped in the room to which she closed the door. This stops the problem entirely, although Im pretty sure shes ticked off that shes not able to close doors completely anymore. Inexpensive solution to trapped cats!
