> 3 dayThis is easy to install and remove, fits perfectly on the door handle when not in use, and holds up beautifully when my almost 2 year old practices her daily door slamming. It is a sturdy little thing that holds up to repeated use, and is hugely satisfying to see in action. Great buy!

> 3 dayMy 5 year old constantly slams his door when he gets mad and this device is worth the money! I just got it and put it at the top of the door so he cant reach it and I slammed the door as hard as i could and it completely stops the door from slamming shut. Easy install and you can take it off any time.

> 3 dayWe have the litter box in the laundry room, and the laundry room door will close on its own and lock the cat out so it cant get to the bathroom. I was going to go through all the trouble and $$ to install a cat door because we dont want the laundry room door wide open all the time, and then I stumbled across this which is a million times cheaper. the cat has no problem sticking her paw in the gap of the door that this thing creates so she can get in.

> 3 dayBought these to keep the basement door open so that my pets can access the litter box. Every once in a while, someone would accidentally close the door or the wind would close it enough that the cats couldn’t open it and I’d find a surprise in the morning. This keeps the door open and can easily be removed without lasting damage to the door.

> 3 dayI got this to prop open our basement door so the dog and cat could get down there. It works really well and by putting it on the top of the door it isnt even noticeable. My only complaint is that one of the two cracked pretty quickly. We repaired it with duct tape and are still using it as well as the second one. For the price this works really well. Also, the one that broke could be because my door has a spring to close it so it might have been that pressure that caused it to break. Now that I use both together there doesnt seem to be any issue.

> 3 dayI needed to keep a door open so the cat could come and go from the basement. The door would sometimes inadvertently get closed and she would be trapped, which was a problem if he needed to use his litter box. I appreciated the simple nature of this device, no screws or installation. Just pop it on when you need it!

> 3 dayMy husband and I bought these while we were away for the day so that our kittens would not lock themselves out of the bathroom and where their litter box is kept. We also used one on the bedroom door so that they could roam freely in that room as well. They worked out perfectly and a great solution. We did have an incident with a guest closing that bathroom door for a few hours until one of us got home and I vowed that would never happen again. Im so glad we found these guards as they were the perfect solution.

> 3 dayI use these because my two five month old, male kittens remind me a lot of my sons when they were in elementary school. My sons in elementary school were riding all around the neighborhood with their friends, looking for storm drains to catch impetigo and ring worm in during the summer when they had no sense. They were out creating boys-only clubs in the park and building forts out of couch cushions in the winter time. Now my two five month old, male kittens remind me of my boys at that age. They have that same look in their eyes, that same attitude, and that same lack of self-preservation. That matters because my kittens are constantly doing things like playing a game with the doors in our house where one of them gets on one side of the door and the other of them gets on the other side of the door and then they attack each other under the door, banging the door back and forth at each other, until BANG! Either one of them actually gets caught by the door as it swings shut or one of them gets caught in room (if theyre lucky). These door guards are actually stops that jerpnice for keeping doors from closing all the way. They block the door from actually shutting all the way, which protects the kittens from serious injury and from being locked in rooms. They do not keep doors open far enough, though, so the kittens keep getting caught in the doors, and furthermore the guards are not even quite big enough so that the kittens can can quite pry the door back open after it has swung shut, but they are definitely better than nothing. these guards were much bigger than they currently are, they would be much more conspicuous, so in a way, I cant complain - theyre designed nearly as well as possible. In any case, theyre worth the money, theyre better than nothing, and Ive already decided to buy some more.
