Makes no sense that this is called a rattle and is for teething, then have a 3 yrs and up recommendation. It also could hurt someone if hit by or thrown.

Perfect gift for a baby on the way!

This is a really pretty rattle and my son loves playing with it. Unfortunately, it feels unfinished on the ball part. There are small pieces of wood sticking up that could give someone a splinter.
