Our four month old baby granddaughter immediately grabbed it, and began mouthing it. She also enjoyed when it was shaken near her, engaging her attention. Well made, but my son wasn’t interested in playing with it. Tried between ages 4 mo-6.5 months. Will keep trying. No sharp/pointy edges. It’s smooth to protect from splinters.
