Greater than one weekWorks well. Gave a lower star rating because two out of the 3 quart containers were damaged and I couldnt use them. Had cracks in them and air leaks out.

> 3 dayI was surprised that it worked so well with a cheap 4 gallon 125 psi pancake compressor. I did heat the fluid film up and got it flowing easily. I put the gun on the end of a 50 flexzilla 3/8 hose and was able to do the job on jack stands in the garage.

> 3 dayI used to use spray cans of bar and chain oil, with 24 straws. They work for getting in the frame and hidden areas, but this gun is a much better way. It works faster and saves you money because you can use bulk oil, Fluid Film or chain&bar oil which are much cheaper. This gun gives a nice thin coating thats just enough to coat and protect, or thicker if you want. And when youre under there its not dripping all over the place. Heres a recipe: Get a gallon pail of fluid film then mix approx 50/50 in a jug with chainsaw bar & chain oil which is really sticky/tacky. Then mix in some used motor oil, bearing grease and Lucas oil stabilizer. Some people dissolve paraffin+kerosene into a cream and add that too. Im running the gun at 75 psi. The gun comes with a few empty bottles. The way this thing sprays, about 1 bottle will do half of a truck. The hoses are very good for pushing up into frame rails and over top of shock perches, etc . The hoses are not extremely flexible, which is a benefit when pushing them up into the frame. Only thing is, they wont turn anything other than a very gradual curve...sometimes that doesnt work if the frame hole is small and you cant make the turn thru that hole. I wish they provided another hose that is thinner, like 1/4 O.D. so that you could get in smaller holes or smaller places. For these few problem spots I revert back to spray cans and LONG straws. An excellent thing to buy along with this gun is the ShopStraw FS250 . You can cut this straw into a 2 ft section and put it on spray cans of Fluid Film or Johnsens bar and chain oil JON4602 case or 4723 can , or any cheap spray chain/bar oil . You can see all this in my pic . Yeah this gun is a hundred bucks but If you think long run, your frame rusting out usually results in junking the vehicle or spending alot of money and time. A hundred bucks is nothing to prevent your frame and body from rusting out. If youre on the fence, let me save you the time. Just spend the damn money, get this gun. Get a jug of cheap Bar&Chain oil, Fluid Film and used oil. Some nice jack stands also make the job easier. I use Big Red jack stands, they are reasonably priced and are DOUBLE LOCKING. Now go and protect your baby from road salt and rust.

> 3 dayStop scrolling. This is the sign that youve been looking for. This kit pays for itself in application speed and quality. Hooked this up to a 100psi compressor with a regulator at the sprayer for quick adjustments. Go to you local hardware store and pick one up. This sprayed cold and hot fluid film extremely well, much better and cheaper than the aerosol cans!! Hit all metal surfaces excluding brake calipers / rotors.
