World of Eric Carle, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Apple Play Set and Shape Sorter Developmental Toy

My granddaughter who is 20 months old just loved this item. She has the matching book and recognized it the moment we opened it. She carries it around every day.

I disliked the packaging because play pieces that are attached but should separated are attached with little tiny plastic staples. These staples are so tiny they could choke an infants airway. The product is marketed for 0 months and older. There is NO WARNING or Instructions on the package. In the photo above I place a couple of the plastic staples on the top of a blue can do they could be seen. The product is ok but the packaging is hazardous to an infant.

I love it, but the real test is when I give it to my grandson, although I think he will agree with me ;-)

Very difficult packaging . Not as nice as photo. Not worth the cost .

I purchased this for my 4 month old nephew and it was perfect! The pieces were the perfect size for him to hold and squeeze. It helps add an interactive element for nighttime storytime. Would also be perfect for a classroom!

Bought this color toy to give to our 8 month old grandson for Christmas. Keep you posted

Love the product ..

I really like Eric Carle books, so when I saw this I was excited to show my son the book and toy. It is very cute but he just doesnt play with it. The top of the apple flops all the way back- I can see once this toy is stored for baby #2 it will not make it back to its original shape. The fruit inside are cute, but lame. For the price I thought the fruit should have been bigger and better quality. All the pieces inside can fit through the inside of a toilet paper roll- so be aware if small children are around, they are smaller than you think at first glance.

I got this for my son who is obsessed with the very hungry caterpillar. It’s really cute
