The item that I received and am reviewing is wyunway Solder Wire 63/37 Tin/Lead with Flux Rosin Core 0.8mm (0.032 inch) For 25 years my job was to sit at an electronics repair bench and make broken equipment work again. I’ve used a fair amount of solder during my lifetime as I still do some repair work today. I’ve noticed that my stock of heavier gauge general electronics solder was getting depleted. How nice to find this .032 solder just when I needed it. Now to test it and see how well it works. And the answer is: it works very well indeed. I tinned 2 wires initially for part of my testing. The pictures are below. The grey insulated wire with the silver looking strands always tins well as it did with this solder. The brown lamp cord has been stripped for the past few years so air has gotten to it and tarnished it slightly. This is a more difficult test. If the rosin flux is a good quality, even this slightly tarnished wire should tin properly. And indeed it did. I soldered some components on a circuit board and also tried some solder wicking braid on the parts I just soldered. Everything worked just fine. I’m quite pleased with this solder and can highly recommend it.

High-quality rosin with built-in flux to set fast and stick well. If you solder much, you know how vital a good solder is to work with. Its just as good as more expensive high-grade rosin.

This is for DIY projects. It is exactly what I expected.

I make kits occasionally and more often solder connectors on cables as I do experiments and just in general, play radio! This solder seems to work just fine for my needs that Ive thrown at it.

I love solder with lead in it, this solder flow well on the connection with nice shiny finish. The flux works great and allows the solder to flow great. I do a lot of PCB soldering and this solder works great for both through hole or service mount components

What can I say... its rosin core solder! Good stuff particularly for wiring and anything that might need a little flex (wiring harnesses, etc.). Good value for the dollar!

I solder electronics all the time and this is the size thickness you need for low heat and easy flow.

In my spare time, I like to do DIY electronics projects. From light controllers, to bluetooth transmitters and more. This 63/37 tin/lead with a flux core solder makes soldering those small circuit boards a snap. I ordered the .8mm and very pleased with the performance.
