This product was as advertised. This product fit very well, and appears to work. When I say appears to work, its a furnace filter so I really wont know for a few days to see how it filters out the dust. But so far, so good.

Update after six months of use in my Carrier Infinity HVAC system: The filters have now seen use in winter and summer and have done an amazing job. The Infinity system runs the blower almost constantly at a low level and is extremely sensitive to airflow issues. There were no issues with the system after a full six months. Observations: - The carbon feature of the filter absolutely makes the home smell “clean”. We have a dog and when walking in the front door you wouldnt know it from any pet odors. The carbon was worth it for an overall “freshness” that is noticeable. - We have an older home and I am always watching out for mold and mildew. I have no scientific measurement for quantifying that the filters are preventing mold growth but after a very wet spring and summer I can attest to the fact that I havent had to do mold cleaning or painting that I would have done in the past. - As an allergy sufferer I have found my answer in this filter. I can sleep soundly even when the trees are in full blossom. We have a fresh air system that brings in outside air to mix with the home air. Other filters I have had didnt do enough to keep my allergies at bay. Even with fresh air from outside the filter is able to keep up with my allergies. - The filter is expensive but now that Ive used it for an extended period it is justifiable. Our home is more pleasant, we have less dust, I can sleep during allergy season, and airflow isnt reduced even with the high filtration. Air quality is important to me and Ive been extremely impressed thus far and will be replacing them with the same filter next change. _________________________________ Original Review: This is a high-quality furnace filter without a doubt. There is a clear difference in surface area when you compare this filter next to others that Ive tried. My Carrier Infinity system was setup with a MERV 8 filter. The system will trigger a fault if airflow is restricted. I found the Lennox filter after a lot of searching and saw that it has almost twice the ridges to enable increased filtration without restricting airflow. Other filters that I tried triggered a system error within 48 hours of switching. This filter has been working in my system without error for almost a week. I will post an update if something changes or if the filter life is too short to make it worthwhile. Also worth noting: I switched to an activated carbon filter before winter and will never go back. The house smells clean no matter what. I recommend considering it.

Have ordered the same filter multiple times and the filter has a great Merv rating. I change the filter every 6 months. Very satisfied, maybe a little pricey.
