> 3 dayI have had my Xerox C400N printer for almost 3 years. It consistently produces high-quality print jobs in color and black-and-white. Very, very dependable. When it has needed service, Xerox eConcierge telephone service is responsive and iwell-informed, and the on-site service is prompt. I love this printer, but will probably upgrade to the C405 when this one reaches the end of its service life at 80,000 pages - I am at 60,000 now. One nice aspect to this printer is that it will print on 80# cardstock. Most printers will not do this dependably. Also, understand that the price of the printer is subsidized by Xerox, knowing that they will make up the difference when they sell you their toner cartridges. However, buying genuine Xerox toner cartridges also entitles you to free tech support and repair service. To me, that’s worthwhile, even though Xerox products are much more expensive than their generic counterparts. I would buy this product again in a heartbeat!

> 3 dayGot this because I need to print a lot and often. First problem was it refused to work without a wifi adaptor.Fine spent the extra $50 to get that. [which lasted 3 months and had to be replaced]. After 8 months of working just fine it started acting up. Printings thousands of pages of random script, refusing to connect to computer, or just flat out not printing anything. Did every trouble shoot that is available from the company and it still wont work. cons Set up was annoying. Especially if you are unaware you needed that wifi adaptor. It NEVER connected to the wifi, i had to have the adaptor AND a cord to computer for it to print. Logs you out after a few minutes despite changing the settings. Jammed every 200 pages or so Just stops working despite being compatible it killed 2 USB ports on my computer pros: when it works it works great the laser printer was originally cheaper than buying new ink every other week. In the end I have this giant heavy pile of jink I cant use and cant get rid of. Highly disappointed in this overall. I needed a small business printer and got...junk. Either cover yourself and get the return insurance or find something better is my advice.

> 3 dayThis printer is good for super rich people who can afford the ridiculous ink prices and can afford to trash it when they eventually get the dreaded Fault Code 092-320 or any of the other myriad of fault codes these machines are known for. Support is no use when it comes to these errors and simply suggests to use genuine ink, replace the ink, or replace the drum. Yep, tried all of the above and the machine still gives the Fault Code 092-320. Its an impossible error to fix. The phaser 6600 has a very similar well known issue with Fault Code 092-670. Xerox is basically selling $500+ printers with $500 toner sets that still fail and become throwaway printers. Do not buy.

> 3 dayFirst unit broken down within 12,000 sheets. Cheaper to buy another unit. Probably wont buy a third.

> 3 dayI purchased this boat anchor last year and immediately had trouble with it. The first issue was with the print quality. The ink was not adhering to the paper. It took the BBB to get the attention of Xerox, as they never responded to my support requests. Instead of replacing the printer, they sent a technician out on 4 separate occasions within a 2 month period. The issue couldnt be resolved so they replaced the printer. The replacement printer has constant issues with accepting ink cartridges, it ghost prints constantly, it is extremely slow, and is doesnt connect to my router. I finally got rid of it when it wouldnt accept ink cartridges any longer. The Xerox VersaLink C400 is by far the biggest hunk of junk piece of equipment that I had ever purchased in my 32 years in business.

> 3 dayDespite the rough shipping it seems to be working just fine! The box was all tattered and looked as though it had been through the mill. It was not even closed or secured. In addition, it was delivered upside down. Unable to load images.

> 3 dayThis is not a good home office option with the many layers of accounting and large network accounts for multiple users. If I wanted to print anything, I had to use wifi printing, that worked fine, but I had to email all the documents to my phone.
